Detectives have released surveillance photos of a man who may have stolen four guns from an unmarked sheriff’s vehicle on Avanti Drive in northwest Bakersfield. The weapons that were taken from the gated community overnight on Monday include a Colt AR-15, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun and a Glock handgun, and the Sheriff’s Office is also investigating whether any protocols were broken.
