WATER MAP SHOWS SCHOOL LEAD

The State Water Resources Board has a new online map that shows whether there’s too much lead in your school’s drinking water. Four schools in Kern County had to filter their water recently after testing positive for higher than allowed levels of lead.

Schools that do not appear on the map may not be tested yet or have been built in the last 10 years.
