ROY CLARK DIES

Country music star and “Hee Haw” star Roy Clark has died.

Clark passed away from complications of pneumonia at his home in Oklahoma on Thursday.

The multi-talented instrumentalist was born in Virginia, toured with Hank Williams, and had eight top 10 hits of his own throughout the 60s and 70s.

But he’s probably best remembered as Buck Owens’ co-host on the long running comedy and country music TV show. Owens and Clark had a popular segment called “Pickin’ and Grinnin'” that featured lightening fast jokes and even quicker guitar playing.

He was 85.
