We’re learning more about a former math teacher and basketball coach at Liberty High School in Bakersfield charged with annoying a child. Reports say Jeff Hicks admitted kissing a 16-year-old student at his house, who may have also been his student teaching assistant.

The girl also claims Hicks tried to climb on top of her while she was sitting on his bed, and that they had a relationship through social media.

He’s on paid leave pending the court case.
