Woman Indicted on Bank Fraud Charges

A Bakersfield woman has been indicted by a federal grand jury on four-counts of bank fraud-related charges. 31-year-old Amanda Joy Nash is accused of obtaining stolen checks via mail, changing the name they’re made out to, and depositing them. She faces 30 years in prison and a 1-million dollar fine if convicted for the crimes, which the US Attorney says happened between August 2017 and March 2018
