PG&E has settled a lawsuit out of court with a man who suffered severe injuries to his legs during an implosion of an old power plant in Bakersfield.

The utility says it’s paying 90 percent of Jerry Wood’s settlement. Five people were hurt by shrapnel during the August 2013 implosion of the Kern Power Plant.
