The coroner’s office has identified the woman found in a Eureka Street alley near Owens Intermediate School as 31-year-old Brenda Grajeda of Bakersfield.

They say additional toxicology work will be needed to determine how she died. Police failed to find signs of trauma when Grajeda’s body was discovered July 3.
