Bakersfield High School junior Navonte Demison is the new CIF State 138 pound Wrestling champion after pinning Dinuba’s Jacob Wright in one minute.

Saturday’s final was Demison’s third try at the title after finishing in the top three the past two years. The last champ from Bakersfield was Bryce Hammond in 2011.
