National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day was a big success around the country and in the Central Valley. The DEA reports Northern California and the Central Valley combined to turn in more than 26-thousand pounds – or 13 tons – of prescription drugs. There were several events and locations around Kern County last week where people could turn in their drugs.
