A 59-year-old female inmate at the Lerdo jail has died from falling out of a bunk bed. The coroner’s office said Thursday Kimberly Morrisey-Scalia struck her head in the fall on June 27th, then was taken to Kern Medical where her condition declined. She died last Friday of blunt head trauma injuries.
