A man accused of hitting a woman on South King Street in Bakersfield while using drugs has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI causing great bodily harm and possession of narcotics. 54-year-old James Tate was in court Wednesday. The victim in Monday’s accident has moderate injuries.
