There was a shooting on Monitor Street near White Lane in south Bakersfield. A man was shot three times around 1:30 Friday afternoon but his injuries are not considered serious. No suspects have been named but a couple of boys in their early teens were being sought right after the shooting although police have not said if they were believed to be involved.
