Kern County is expecting a decline in this year’s annual crop report but it’s uncertain by how much. The County Ag Commissioner says problems at the state level have delayed the yearly report and it will be released September 13th, about one month late. Tulare County issued their report on time showing a fourteen percent income decrease. Tulare and Kern counties ranked 1-2 as the top agriculture counties in the nation in 2014.
