Containment on the Cedar Fire in the Sequoia National Forest is now at 95 percent.The latest estimate for full containment has jumped ahead by a month. Fire commanders now say they’ll get a line around the 29 thousand acre wildfire by September 10th after a previous guess of mid-October. There have only been a few cabins damaged by the fire although it has cost about $50 million to fight.
