The man who was killed in an accident on Norris Road has been identified as 81-year-old Jerry Ward of Bakersfield. He was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle Friday morning near Melody Lane when he was hit by a big rig. The CHP says Ward had turned into the path of the semi and the driver was unable to stop in time to avoid the crash.
