A 14-year-old boy is dead from an accidental shooting at an apartment on 25th Street West in Rosamond. Deputies say the teen had been handling a shotgun around noon Thursday when it fired hitting him in the chest. Two other teens were in the home at the time but were not hurt, the victim’s identity has not been released.
