Bakersfield police and firefighters have rescued a man who fell into Mill Creek.The location was at California Avenue and R Street. Officers arrived just before 3:00 Thursday afternoon and found the victim floating and they went into the water to pull him out. It’s uncertain how the 35-year-old man got into the canal but he is recovering.
