The Sheriff’s Rural Crimes Unit nabbed a couple Bakersfield men for stealing over one thousand wooden pallets.They were taken from a vineyard north of Meadows Field. 50-year-old Evens Bernard and 43-year-old Michael Holcomb were arrested Wednesday when a deputy pulled over a truck hauling some of the pallets near Norris Road and Pegasus Drive.
