Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the leg in the area of 8th and M Streets in central Bakersfield. Shots were fired around 3:00 Thursday afternoon and a man was seen limping into a home and but the 24-year-old victim was found and taken to a hospital. A medical van was hit by bullets but no one inside was hurt.
