A pair of local health organizations have announced a $200 thousand grant to support a wig shop. Dignity Health and says they joined with the Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center to support one of the services Links for Life provides to breast cancer patients The Missing Link Boutique on Chester Avenue in downtown Bakersfield will be providing wigs and head covers free of charge for the next five years with the funding.
