The Governor’s Office of Emergency Services has issued an earthquake advisory.The move was made after a swarm of seismic activity at the Salton Sea. The alert includes Kern County and much of Southern California and runs through Tuesday. Over 140 small quakes have rattled north of Brawley in the past week and that could foretell of a major earthquake. The area is east of San Diego.
