Two more groups of Honor Flight veterans have departed Meadows Field in Bakersfield for Washington DC. The first flight left the gate after 6:00 Monday morning, carrying those whose served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam for a three day tour of the monuments named for them.

They return home Wednesday.
