More than 300 firefighters are manning the lines of a wildfire that broke out Thursday in a rugged area of the Sequoia National Forest. The Jacobson Fire stands at close to 11-hundred acres as of Sunday evening.

No homes are threatened but certain trails in the Golden Trout Wilderness are closed.
