Four gang members who were convicted of robbing the Golden West Casino in Bakersfield will each be spending more than 47 years in prison.

A judge ruled last month that Jajuan Bell, John Williams, Lynell Lewis and Deon Joseph should not get a third trial after a series of appeals, and Deputy D.A. Jim Simson says Tuesday’s re-sentencing should be the last. The defense claims the prosecutor in their first case in 2010 intentionally forced a mistrial.

The men robbed the Golden West Casino on Union Avenue in 2007 and were caught in 2008 on their way to rob it again.
