A pair of wildfires are being slowed by rains that have come through central California.Each fire burned at least 17 hundred acres in the Sequoia National Forest. Lightening started the Slate Fire on October 4th and containment is now at ninety percent. The Jacobson Fire is to the north and began October 20th and stands at fifty percent containment.
