Caltrans says the left hand lane of Eastbound Highway 58 is back open.

Crews have been repaving both lanes of Highway 58 near Towerline Road since a fuel tanker truck accident Sunday, and agency spokesman Christian Lukens says removing so much contaminated pavement has been a major undertaking.

Caltrans expects the highway to be fully reopened Wednesday.
