The latest vote count for Bakersfield mayor shows Karen Goh doubling her lead over Kyle Carter. Monday night’s update from the Country Registrar’s Office has Goh leading with about 5,000 more votes than Carter. She now has 52.5 percent of the total, but there are still thousands of ballots yet to be counted. Karen Goh: 53,295 (52.49%) Kyle Carter: 48,238 (47.5%)
