The kids at Highland Elementary School in Oildale have presented nearly 2,800 pairs of socks.The socks were presented to the Hope Center to provide the often-forgotten clothing item for those in need. Wednesday’s donation is an annual event for the school and the students far exceeded this year’s goal of collecting 1,800 pairs of socks.
