Houchin Community Blood Bank will be setting up shop across Kern County for the nationwide Giving Tuesday campaign. Development Director Carola Enriquez hopes to get more donors on their rolls to supply all the new treatments in our area, like neonatal and cancer.

Giving Tuesday is a social media-based campaign that encourages people to donate to charity after they finish shopping for Christmas presents.

If you’d like to give blood or platelets, Houchin will be at these locations:

1. Truxtun Donor Center, 5901 Truxtun Drive, Bakersfield 9:00am-6:00pm.
2. Bolthouse Donor Center, 11515 Bolthouse Drive, Bakersfield 9:00am-6:00pm.
3. Three-Way Chevrolet Cadillac, 4501 Wible Road, Bakersfield 10:00am-3:00pm.
4. Opportunities for Learning, 330 E. Ridgecrest Boulevard #C, Ridgecrest 9:00am-3:00pm.
