A Bakersfield woman has been arrested on identity theft charges following a mid-November robbery.It happened near the Rabobank Theater on Truxtun Avenue. 45-year-old Diana Messerschmidt was booked Wednesday and faces various theft and false personation charges. A man being sought in the case was also located but was found to be not involved in the crime.
