The man captured after a crash seriously injured a woman on Calloway Drive in northwest Bakersfield is being charged with DUI. Police say 34-year-old Esteban Valdez Guitierrez ran a red light around 8:00 Thursday and then took off on foot after hitting a car. He was caught, but his female passenger also ran and hasn’t been found.
