President-elect Donald Trump was a hot topic during the second annual Vision for the Valley forum at Bakersfield College.

Chamber of Commerce CEO Nick Ortiz sat on the politics panel Tuesday and thinks Trump could influence how we do business here by either approving Valley water projects from Washington or revising environmental regulations.

Other panels talked about how to fill the growing number of science, technology, math and healthcare jobs in Kern County.
