Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an assault and robbery that happened Monday afternoon on Golden Star Blvd and La Jara Drive in Tehachapi.

They say the victim was approached around 3:40 by a tall man in dark clothing who demanded money and then attacked the victim with a box cutter. The wounds are NOT life threatening.
