Deputies are looking for the driver of a car that sped off when he saw a Sheriff’s patrol cruiser.That resulted in a short pursuit around 3:00 Thursday morning which ended when the car hit a light pole at Panama Road and Mod Way in Lamont. The driver got out of the car and ran away, the vehicle and the light pole were not seriously damaged.
