Cal State Bakersfield has fired their baseball coach. Bob Macaluso was promoted last year after Bill Kernen retired but was unable to match his progress after the Roadrunners made it to the NCAA playoffs. Pitching coach Jeremy Beard is taking over as interim coach, the Runners had a record of 19-37 in Macaluso’s only year in charge.
