The CHP is investigating what caused a fatal solo car accident near the Travel Centers of America truck stop on Wheeler Ridge Road in Arvin.

Officers believe a man lost control of his pickup truck, crashed through a fence over one-thousand feet away and tumbled into a sump. They think he may have been there for a few days before being found Monday morning.
