A 42-year-old Bakersfield man was killed and a young girl was seriously injured in a pile up.The crash happened on Highway 58 at Bear Mountain Boulevard. The CHP says a big rig jackknifed at about 1:40 Thursday afternoon causing a total of nineteen vehicles to crash over about a half-mile stretch under very foggy conditions. Identities have not been released.
