An 85-year-old woman has been rescued from rushing flood waters.It happened as a Sheriff’s helicopter was showing Grand Jury members recent rain damage. Tuesday afternoon’s rescue was north of Tehachapi on Caliente Creek Road where the pavement collapsed, trapping a truck. The copter landed, then Deputy John McAdoo waded through the water to recover the woman.
