MONUMENT MOVE IN CALIFORNIA

President Obama has expanded the California Coastal National Monument.It happened after years of the state’s Congressional Democrats pushing for the move. Thursday’s announcement adds six sites and more than 62 hundred acres to the monument. The Piedras Blancas Natural Area of San Luis Obispo County is the closest addition to our area.
