Part of State Route 166 east of Maricopa had to be shut down after a fatal accident involving two cars and a semi.

The CHP says a woman died after her sedan drifted into oncoming traffic and slammed head on into a truck at Basic School Road Tuesday night, causing the semi to hit another sedan.

The other two drivers are okay. The accident is being investigated.
