San Joaquin Community Hospital is changing its name to Adventist Health Bakersfield. Wednesday’s announcement is part of a complete re-branding of the facility on North Chester Avenue to align it more closely with its faith-based parent organization. The hospital is part of a health network operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
