A person involved in a head-on collision at Meacham Road in northwest Bakersfield has died. Police say Kern Medical informed them Thursday the crash that happened in the noon hour Friday in front of Endeavor Elementary School has become a fatality. No details about the victim have been released except that person swerved into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason.
