A large amount of money is missing from the Kern Community College District and the Superintendent of Schools.It’s believed to be a case of bank fraud. County Treasurer Jordan Kaufman says his office found out Friday that an undetermined amount of money had been taken in small and medium amounts over at least a year’s time. The District Attorney and FBI are investigating who may have been skimming the money, Kaufman would not speculate how much money has been taken.
