DOWNTOWN CRASH SENDS CAR INTO BUILDING

Bakersfield Police are investigating who is at fault for a two car crash that sent a sedan into a downtown building.

Fire Battalion Chief John Frando says crews needed to use the Jaws of Life to get a pinned-in passenger when they got to G and 16th streets around 10:00 Tuesday morning. That passenger was uninjured.

The sedan driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the pickup driver was unhurt. Slick roads do not appear to be factors in the crash.
