The Bakersfield Condors are getting high marks from the President of the American Hockey League. David Andrews visited Rabobank Arena for Saturday night’s game and says the team made news all across North America with the Outdoor Classic in January, and it created a lot of buzz locally.

Bakersfield is in its second season as an AHL franchise after being relocated here from Oklahoma City by the Edmonton Oilers. The ECHL team that used to be here–also called the Condors–was moved to Virginia.

The Condors fell 4-0 to the San Diego Gulls Sunday on the road, their fourth loss in a row.
