One person is dead following a solo vehicle accident on Highway 223.The crash was were 223 meets Gosford Road, south of Bakersfield. A pickup truck crashed through two fences and a storage container around 3:45 Monday afternoon. The CHP says the driver died, one passenger was injured while another ran from the scene, the cause is unknown.
