The man who is charged with traveling from New York City to kill his ex-girlfriend in Bear Valley Springs has been found competent to stand trial. A judge is also allowing 54-year-old Thomas Dorsey to represent himself.

Prosecutors believe Dorsey rode a bus three-thousand miles before he murdered Jacque Murillo two years ago. Trial is set for April 10th.
