A bill has been introduced to provide homes for itinerant farm laborers. State Senator Andy Vidak of Hanford is introducing legislation he says will improve living conditions for seasonal farmworkers. Senate Bill 530 would allow farmers to use their own land to build houses as long as they follow health and safety codes, and building standards. Seasonal laborers often cannot find temporary housing.
