A Bakersfield Attorney is admitting to taking money from dozens of clients for work he did not perform.

54-year-old Loren Kleier has applied for the State Bar’s alternative discipline program, which is for cases where misconduct is associated with mental health or substance abuse. The agency says eight clients were victimized.
