There are no suspects, but some stolen education money is being found.The fraud investigation into money stolen from the Kern Community College District and Superintendent of Schools shows a total of $19 million has been taken through thousands of small withdrawals. County Treasurer Jordan Kaufman says there are no suspects yet, but his office is focusing on getting the money back. The missing money was found out a month ago and the District Attorney and federal investigators are working on the case.
